Janét Aizenstros is a Canadian serial entrepreneur with a PhD in metaphysical sciences and EMBA. She is known as an author, celebrity podcaster, speaker, model, scholar and philanthropist. 

She has interviewed some of the world’s most recognized celebrities, authors and thought leaders on emotional intelligence.  Janét has been featured on numerous media outlets globally such as SUCCESS, Oprah, Huffington Post, CTV, Women’s Post and more. She has delivered keynote speeches for companies such as Microsoft, Innovation Guelph, Mompreneurs and featured by DOVE USA for the #LOVEYOURCURLS Campaign.  

Born to Caribbean immigrants, this Aruban-Vincentian beauty has been featured in numerous women empowerment magazines and modeled for Canada's top luxury retailer--Holt Renfrew.   

Growing up in a home where she was exposed to a wide array of music genres, Janét’s passion for music spawned her eloquence for words and writing.  At age 14, she began vocal training until the age of 17 to pursue her life-long dream of becoming a singer. Meanwhile,  she never pursued her music career professionally, it didn't negate her passion for writing.  At age 17, Janét wrote her first autobiographical poetry book, My Heart Open As The Sky which was eventually published globally in 2014.

From 2012 to 2013, Janét authored seven books in genres ranging from children to self-awareness.  Her writings have appeared in numerous anthologies globally whilst her poetry has been recognized by the International Library of Poetry.  Her children’s book series Why Mommy Loves can be found globally on all major book retailers in over 5 different languages. Due to the success of this series, Janét has been inducted in the Guelph Public Library archives as a Famous Guelphite along-side world renowned children’s authors Robert Munsch and Jean Little.   Her writings have appeared in numerous platforms such as Huffington Post, Mind Your Mind, Richard Dawkins Foundation and Thrive Global

From March 3rd-8th 2015, Janét's company LOVE Lifestyle Publishing Group  hosted International Women's Week at Indigo - Canada's largest book retailer's flagship Bay/Bloor location.  This event is the first women's event in Indigo's history, making Janét the first woman and Afro-Canadian woman to do so to date.  The event theme for International Women's Day 2015 was #MakeItHappen which consisted of featuring authors published by her company sharing their stories of how they made it happen to live a life of passion and purpose.      

In late 2015, Luxe House Publishing was founded —home of the upcoming book compilation The Lotus Collection that shares the stories of heroic women leaders.

In 2013, for Vaughan Small Business Week, Janét modeled for Canada's top luxury retailer--Holt Renfrew wearing top-tier designers. 

Janét's social media influence caused her modeling and writing to collide when she became recognized by Dove Canada for her emotionally transparent article Mirror, Mirror on the Wall: Do I Trust What I See? This article gives voice to how women are portrayed in the media from the Afro-Canadian perspective.  Since being acknowledged from Dove Canada in 2014, Janét was given another opportunity to be featured  in the Dove USA 2015 Advanced Hair campaign  #LoveYourCurls for her story Phenomenally Curly

Janét is the Chairwoman & CEO of Ahava Group Global— a women-led modern media parent company comprised of Ahava Digital Group, LOVE Lifestyle Publishing Group, LUXE House Publishing, Twelve Twenty One Illustration and Ahava Entertainment.  Ahava Group Global serves Fortune clients and media companies in nine locations globally.  In 2017, both the digital agency and self-publishing company were awarded by CV Magazine for being two of the fast-growing agencies in Canada.She has sat on the board of directors for Guelph Inspiration, a musical event celebrating the arts, and the Guelph Arts Council. The Ahava Media Network (previously known as Women's Movement Media Network) is AMN's online broadcasting subsidiary, where you can find Janét interviewing celebrities, thought leaders and everyday people on audio podcast and video through Ahava Radio (previously known as Women's Movement Radio Network) and Ahava TV (previously known as Women's Movement Television Network).  Since Janét believes in her coined phrase "media with integrity" companies such as Hay House, Random House and other renowned media platforms globally have established comfortable relationships with Janét and her team to interview their clients.

Although these platforms may be Janét's interviewing homes, she has also given other women the opportunity to use her platform to diversify the dialogue of the network. 

Ahava Radio and Ahava TV, has given Janét the opportunity to host and produce celebrity interviews such as Stephanie Andujar from Orange Is The New Black, world-renowned thought leader Christie Marie Sheldon and Canada's innovative pastor Bruxy Cavey.

Ahava Radio covered high-profiled stories such as the celebrity-supported child trafficking case of Sara Kruzan. Through the support of many celebrities, media professionals and the grass-root advocates of Sarah's campaign, on October 31, 2013 Sara Kruzan was paroled from California State Penitentiary.  Sarah and Janét have been in touch. 

Through Ahava Television's multi-series she has covered the U.S. history-making story, The Witness Wore Red by Rebecca Musser – the 19th wife who brought polygamous cult leaders to justice. Rebecca Musser has since gone on to be featured on NBC's Dateline sharing her story of spiritual abuse with the world.  Janét is an advocate for Rebecca's Claim Red campaign.

In 2019, Janét launched the Wholly Living Podcast through the Wholly Living Research Institute— dedicated to empowering women leaders to live harmoniously.

Once an aspiring pastor who began her journey to find the truth about the origins of existence. Now, this Xennial thought leader devotes endless hours of keeping abreast of emotional & spiritual concepts. She believes becoming emotionally intelligent has aided her in learning to live with her life-long battle with depression, PTSD and suicide. Since building this awareness she frequently speaks to millennial’s and the evolving generations on her cutting-edge scientifically sound insights.

She created the What Do You Believe series on Ahava Television to give voice to the generation of people who no longer believe in a concept of G-d or are questioning what they believe in general. In this series, the featured highlights are Canada's most influential pastor Bruxy Cavey, author of the book The End Of Religion and world renowned scholar Kenneth Humphreys of the movement Jesus Never Existed.  Additionally, she created the series 21 Answers To Emotional Freedom, where featured leaders such as CTV The Social’s Wellness Expert Nova Browning Rutherford, Oprah Winfrey Network’s Intuitive Life Strategist Di Riseborough, South Africa’s Wealth Guru Vangile Makwakwa, Australia’s Brand Maven Mary Henderson and Guelph’s very own Positive Ph.D doctor Meghan Kirwin answering questions on self-love, soul healing, happiness and money.

Janét is a resourceful and vibrant speaker. She has spoken for top-tier companies including Google, Innovation Guelph, Mompreneurs, Microsoft and more. 

On March 4th, 2013 for International Women's Day, Janét keynote spoke along-side internationally renowned speaker Lisa Nichols (known for her role in the movie The Secretfor Global Women's Inspiration Virtual Conference.  Janét's emotionally intelligent presentation, I Am Married To Me was deemed an "intellectual masterpiece" on self-love by ABC-TV Emmy nominated journalist Michelle Madrid-Branch.  

In May 2016 for American Small Business Week, Janét presented a well-received talk for Microsoft on the Importance of Women In Technology - How To Start A Tech Company with Limited Resources & Experience. 

sELF-IMAGE, Emotional Intelligence & Media Expert

Janét serves as chairwoman of her founded self-awareness movement Bare Campaign - a national campaign dedicated to teaching women how the media influences their self-image and mental health.    

On October 24th, 2012, Bare Campaign launched it's first campaign via social media which went viral engaging over 1200 people on Facebook and Twitter.  For Bare Campaign 2013, Janét created and hosted a live event called Bold. Bare. Powerful - Emotional Intelligent Conversations for Women.  This live event featured 15 panelists which including influential women such as Forbes Senior Editor & Celebrity Ghostwriter Pauleanna Reid, CTV’s The Social wellness expert Nova Browning Rutherford, Mabel's Labels founder Julie Cole and Global TV finance contributor Shannon Lee Simmons from The School of Finance.  

Janét is a media expert through SheSource - an online braintrust for female media experts founded by Gloria Steinem and Jane Fonda.  Here Janét offers support by lending her expertise through: media advocacy and contributing to media initiatives to empower women and girls. 

In October 2014, she was selected by the women's African-American collective at the University of Delaware for a documentary called Perceptions of Black Women In Media.

HUMANITARIAN & PHILANTHROPist

In 2016, the Janét Aizenstros Foundation (JAF) was founded to support pioneering programs in arts, education, literacy, technology and entrepreneurship.

JAF was established in 2016 as a tribute to honour the many people globally who have recognized Janét’s writing, entrepreneurial success and dedication to women’s empowerment.

During 2016, the United Jewish Appeal (UJA) heritage initiative; the Tomorrow Campaign brought the vision of the Janét Aizenstros Reading Circle to fruition at the Joseph and Wolf Lebovic Jewish Community Campus.

Founded in 2017 to launch in 2020 is the Janét Aizenstros Scholarship Program created for Afro-Canadian and African Diaspora students in financial need through the University of Guelph's College of Business & Economics, Conestoga College's School of Media + Design and University of Waterloo's Faulty of Engineering.  

Upcoming in 2020 through the University of Waterloo Engineering department, the Janét Aizenstros Foundation Entrepreneur Venture Fund. This will be the first women in engineering fund founded for the institution to provide an award offered annually to encourage entrepreneurial women to pursue careers in technology.
