My Heart Open As The Sky

"I wrote this book when I was seventeen."

Janét thrives in an intimate conversation, sharing her stories around life with the young women at the Massey Centre in Toronto.

The purpose of My Heart, Open As The Sky was to create conversations around the fundamental core questions of about the existence of G-d, love, sex, love and relationships from a young person's perspective.

I have learned that each individual’s thoughts are important enough to be written in ink. We were not given thoughts to be idle but to give birth to our ideas and emotions. Poetry gives voice to honesty. It discretely reveals everything within your soul—one of many forms in which truth lives. Truth desires to be heard; it desires to be spoken. Poetry is your soul’s way of speaking the hidden secrets it has been longing to tell. We need more people who choose to live in the Truth and that are not afraid to let their souls fly against the wind.
